In 1994, NPCC certified its Quality Management System to ISO-9001:1994 by Lloyds
Register of Quality Assurance (LRQA) and became the first offshore construction
company in the Eastern world to receive this certification.
Since then, the company
achieved various quality certifications and grabbed many business excellence awards:

NPCC Pressure Vessels facilities hold ASME U, U2, S & R stamps; while our pipe rolling mill is accredited to API 2B.

NPCC received Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Excellence Award
(MRM) both in 2007 & 2010. |

We also received Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award in the construction sector in
the years 2006 & 2009. |

Our HSEMS defines the principles by which we conduct our operations worldwide with regards to health, safety, and the environment. Consistent with our “Corporate Values” NPCC management provides strong visible leadership which places People, HSE and Customer Satisfaction as its highest priorities. The HSE philosophy is communicated to all employees, customers, subcontractors, and third parties associated with our business, and each member of the organization is mandated to provide positive evidence of conformance to the system

NPCC has been awarded several HSE awards since 1983 from well recognised International
Institutes such as British Safety Council, International Pipeline & Offshore Contractors
Association as well as from its major clients in the region such as Saudi Aramco,
ADNOC and ADCO.

01. Loss Prevention Achievement Award - Aramco - 1984
NPCC was awarded the above award for achieving One Million Man-hours without an
accident while executing Project ZTP 3/4 for Aramco.
02. National Safety Award - British Safety Council
This award is given to companies that meet the BSC's Accident/Incident Rate (A.I.R.).
NPCC has achieved this award for six (6) consecutive years 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986,
1987 and 1988.
03. Loss Prevention Achievement Certificate 1985 - Aramco
This award is based on audits conducted by Aramco on all Aramco's major contractors
in the region under the title of "Offshore Contractor's Fabrication Yard Competition".

04. 1987 and 1988 "Gold Citation" award - British Safety Council
NPCC was awarded in 1987 and 1988 the Gold Citation Award. This
award is given to the 20 runners up in the Sword of Honour competition worldwide.
05. Sword of Honour - British Safety Council - 1989
This award is based on an evaluation of five (5) years Accident Statistics and is
only given to 30 companies worldwide who are selected from the best 50 companies
entered in the competition.
06. 4 Star Health & Safety Management System - British Safety Council - 1987
NPCC was awarded 'Four Stars' from British Safety Council in 1987 which corresponds
to an excellent rating of 81-89%. The Four Stars achieved by NPCC for 1987 evaluation
was based on two audits carried out by independent Third Parties on NPCC Onshore
premises and Offshore spreads.

07. ADNOC Award (GASCO New LPG Tankage Project No. 1209) - 1997
This was awarded by ADNOC Project Directorate to NPCC for achieving 4,000,000 man-hours
without a LTA during the total period of project construction - pre-commissioning
and commissioning activities from 20 June 1995 to 15 October 1997.
08. ADNOC Project Directorate Award - (Ruwais Refinery Expansion Project No.
1214 Condensate Processing - Package 1) - 1998
This was awarded to NPCC by ADNOC for the successful completion of 3, 000,000 man-hours
without a LTA during the period Sept. 1997 to July 1998.
09. Jabel Dhanna Projects - 1999
Safety award presented to NPCC by ADCO for achieving one million man-hours without
LTA.
10. International Pipeline and Contractors Association (IPLOCA) - 1999
NPCC was awarded the major offshore contractor Safety Award for outstanding safety
performance. This is a coveted worldwide safety award.
11. Total South Pars 2000 - 2001
South Pars Field Development Project Phase 2 & 3 - Achieved 1.5 million manhours
with no lost time accident.

12. Soroosh & Nowrooz Integrated Field Development Project (Shell) - 2003
Attained one million LTA free manhours at MFY on 26th February 2003.
13. In addition to the above NPCC has numerous other projects achieving 500,000
man-hours and 1,000,000 man-hours without a lost time accident which is presented
by the GM with an in-house safety award on the Annual Safety Day celebrations.
14. Qatif & Abu Safah Projects Department, Saudi Aramco - 2003
For achieving 1 Million construction man-hours without LTI.
15. ADMA-OCPO facilites engineering division – DAS island
Awarded NPCC on 9th June 2004 for NPCC's contribution to achieve three million man-hours
without LTI.

ADNOC HSE Awards - 2001
a) NPCC was the Runners-up for presenting the innovative submission - "Protecting
the Onshore & Offshore Natural Environment".
b) NPCC was also the Runners-up, jointly with ADMA-OPCO & ZADCO for the "Development
& Implementation of New Marine Standards".
ADNOC HSE Awards - 2002
a) NPCC was the Winner for the Safety category with the submission of – "Innovation
of Insulated Rubber Safety Plugs for Welding Quivers".

b) NPCC was also selected as the Runners-up in the HSE Performance category with
the submission of – "Hazard Identification Process (HIP) - an effective tool for
excellence in HSE performance".
ADNOC HSE Awards - 2003
Winner under the innovation category 'for improving safety of load out operations
of 6-8 legged offshore platform on cargo barges'.
