The NPCC's state-of-the-art Fabrication Yard is unique in the Middle East. A 1,010
,000m2 area, located in Mussafah industrial area, 40 km from the port of Abu Dhabi,
it has been custom-built for the construction, assembly and load-out of Onshore
and Offshore structures.
In addition, permanent space has been allocated for offshore operations support
facilities, compounded indoor material, storage, pipe/sub-assembly workshops and
painting activities.
NPCC has successfully completed a large number of projects in the Arabian Gulf and
India with a wide range of varying fabrication requirements, viz;

With a total production capacity of 67,000 tons of fabricated steel per year, NPCC's
custom-built facilities are the largest and most technologically advanced in the
Middle East.
In addition to a global electrical power distribution system, a plant-wide network
ensures the availability of compressed air, oxygen, acetylene and propane gas throughout.
Equipment lifting up to 250 tons is supplemented by a fleet of tractors, trailers,
forklifts, shovels and bulldozers. Extraneous machinery includes over 920 electric
of diesel welding machines and 50 air compressors.
Load-out facilities are available for loading single structures up to 12000 tons
Adjacent to load-out area is the marine jetty of 1000 meter long with water depth
ranging from 4.5 to 6.5 meter.
The yard is divided into various workshops i.e. Structural, Piping, Machining, Plates
Cutting, Pipe Rolling Mill, Pressure Vessels, a Piles and Legs station, Assembly
area and a Shot Blasting/Painting area.
