Job Description
|
- Responsible for setting of Bidding Methods and Strategy. Management of multi-discipline EPC Proposals. Accountable for Staff supervision.
- Supervise & review a number of proposals.
- Provide recommendations for budget preparation.
- Review / manage Estimation Processes.
- Implement agreed strategies and set procedures.
- Provide input to motivate, train, develop and appraise staff.
- Focal Point for Client, JV Partner and Subcontractors.
- Attend Client Meetings to clarify technical and commercial issues.
- Supervise subcontract works bidding activities. Evaluates subcontract bid tabulation with recommendations to include in resume.
- Reviews the material bid tabulations and assess the technical/commercial merit of the recommended bids.
- Review Tender requirements and ensure to consider such clauses as Terms of payment, Insurance, Liabilities, Warranties, Liquidated Damages and Bonds. Ensure NPCC position is fully protected.
- Reviews the technical and commercial proposals prior to submission to client.
- Reviews Commercial Handover docs prior to issue to relevant operational department.
- Review of final contract agreement documents.
- Compliance in accordance with HSE / Quality Standards.

Skills Required
|
- Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation or Civil.
- 12 year’s Experience in Proposal / Estimation function in Oil & Gas Sector. Project Management experience will be an advantage..
- Sound multidiscipline technical knowledge.
- Knowledge of contractual matters.
- Well developed Planning and organizational skills.
- Good negotiating, influencing and Analytical skills with Time management awareness.
- Good presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Integrity, dedication and loyalty.
- Good Computer skills and excellent communication skills (written & spoken English with advanced report-writing skills).
- Self-motivated and a Team Leader.
- Knowledge of automation and improved estimation techniques.
