Job Description 1. Review all contract documentation and drawings to assess constructability, identify any potential areas for concern and to ensure any special features are brought to attention such as extra works variations. 2. Participate in the development and review of the construction planning package in collaboration with offshore operation and the Project Manager to establish the sequence and duration of activities and optimize project execution. 3. Review Engineering drawings, documents and deliverables relating to area of functional responsibility to assess constructability and consistency with contract requirements. Prepare and issue SDIVs for project materials and consumables. 4. Prepare and/or review project specific and related procedures to ensure comprehensive cover of all project activities as per the contract requirements. 5. Co-ordinate all project related activities with other departments and sections to ensure effective integration of tasks and minimize potential delays. 6. Liaise with the Project Manager to provide commercial and technical input to the Contracts Department at the estimation stage. 7. Participate in compiling the sub-contractor’s scope of work for non-service requirements and undertake bid evaluations, making recommendations where appropriate. Post-award of the project, direct and monitor sub-contractor’s performance. 8. Identify needs and initiate job instructions and variation proposals to ensure cost effective operations and compliance with contract. 9. Work closely with the Construction Manager to adjust the project schedule according to changing priorities, delays and other contingencies, while ensuring that cost effective and optimum solutions are worked out. 10. Participate in the preparation of the client list of deliverables and progress plans; monitor performance against milestones; prepare progress reports and highlight any contractual and other problems. 11. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 8 years ‘experience in offshore construction.
• Good commercial, financial and contractual awareness.
• Good negotiation and decision making skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
• Good report writing skills.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Committed team player/ leader.
• Thorough understanding of offshore operations and equipment.
