Job Description 1. Plan, manage and direct activities, with the responsibility of delivering projects in compliance with contractual requirements. 2. Provide inputs to determine the section/department’s annual operating budget, manpower requirement etc. 3. Contribute to finalizing the project construction strategy; set and monitor quality objectives. 4. Identify project risks and recommend ways to mitigate them. 5. Provide technical and commercial inputs and review contract/tendering documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of requirements; participate and/or direct the preliminary planning stages as necessary 6. Review & approve Heavy lift and Load out procedures; participate in preparation and execution of operations. 7. Review, optimize and approve the work of mobilization teams to ensure that all necessary activities are covered with actions properly assigned, timescales agreed, and relevant parties properly briefed with communication channels established where necessary. 8. Review, optimize and approve resourcing requirements for respective project segments, including personnel and plant to ensure that these are accurate and realistic and that necessary steps needed to supply resources have been arranged. 9. Review, optimize and approve (with CMs, PMTs, and PCD) the development and establishment of the projects planning packages together with the mechanisms for monitoring subsequent progress against the plans. 10. Analyze performance on a continuous basis to track progress and bottlenecks and initiate recovery plans. 11. Review Safety & QA/QC plans for all projects, as related to the Yards Sections and ensure full compliance with the same. 12. Attend meetings with clients and subcontractors on a regular basis to discuss and resolve issues. 13. Review, optimize and approve demobilization plans of the workforce and plant as projects progress in order to facilitate the relocation of workforce and further utilization of plant. 14. Skills Required 1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 2. 15-20 years’ experience with proven project management experience in similar field. 3. Strong commercial awareness and cost effectiveness. 4. Negotiating & influencing skills. 5. Excellent written and spoken English language skills. 6. Good proven planning & cost control skills, on multi discipline mega projects. 7. Ability to manage operations with a diverse multicultural, multinational workforce. 8. Good report writing skills. 9. Excellent communication skills. 10. Organizational and leadership skills. 11. High order of contractual and technical skills. 12. Superior knowledge of all aspects of oil & gas related construction works.
