NPCC appoints Eng. Aqeel A Madhi as Vice-Chairman & MD and Eng. Ahmed Al Dhaheri as new CEO

NPCC, part of Senaat Abu Dhabi, appointed Eng. Aqeel A. Madhi as Vice Chairman and Managing Director and Eng. Ahmed Al Dhaheri as new CEO, at a recent board meeting. These appointments were discussed and approved by the board members of NPCC at last board meeting, chaired by the Chairman Hussain Al Nowais.  

Mr Hussain Al Nowais said “NPCC believes in developing and promoting capable Emirati professionals to key leadership positions, and has been doing it for last 4 decades. These changes will further strengthen NPCC’s leadership team and improve its performance.”

Chairman thanked Eng. Madhi for his contribution as CEO for 19 years. Under his steer NPCC has grown to be an international company offering total EPC Solutions to Oil & Gas sector. He also congratulated and welcomed new CEO Eng. Ahmed Al Dhaheri to the new position.

Eng. Aqeel A. Madhi said “He is proud of what he has achieved in 19 years, with support from Chairman and Board, and will continue to works for the success of NPCC in his new role. He also congratulated new CEO on his promotion from Deputy CEO and said that under the leadership of the new CEO NPCC will continue to grow. And achieve greater heights.”      

Eng. Ahmed Al Dhaheri said “He is honored to lead NPCC and is confident that with help of his management team, he and NPCC will continue to perform and excel and he is looking forward to new challenges”  

Eng. Ahmed al Dhaheri has been the Deputy CEO of NPCC and was a Board Member of NPCC since 2009. He has also held senior roles at Emirates Steel and Senaat, and is a Graduate in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami and Executive MBA from the UAE University.  

NPCC was founded in 1973 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and has delivered Offshore & Onshore Oil & Gas EPC projects for National and International Oil Companies in the region. It has over 1200 Engineers in 4 Engineering Centers across Europe and Asia, a fleet of 22 Offshore Construction Vessels and the largest yard of 1.3 Million square meters in MENA region.
