Organised under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry successfully concluded the 6th Cycle of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award by honoring UAE-based companies vying for seven different categories during a high profile award presentation ceremony held at Madinat Jumeirah on Wednesday.

National Petroleum Construction Company grabbed the Best Business Performance Award in the Construction Category. Organised under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the award ceremony which was held at Madinat Jumeirah, was also attended by heads of Government departments, dignitaries, Board members of Dubai Chamber, representatives of business councils, groups and trade centers, a large number of businessmen and members of the media.

The Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Award 2011

National Petroleum Construction Company won the silver award in the category of Occupational Health & Safety for its excellent performance for the past year. The award was presented to NPCC for good accident records and for Company's overarching Health and Safety Management Systems, including important HSE practices such as strong HSE leadership and workforce involvement. This award is another testimony to NPCC excellence in the field of HSE.The Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) - held its annual ceremony for recognizing outstanding achievement by worldwide companies in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. The RoSPA Awards Ceremony – the leading scheme of its type - was held on Tuesday May 17, 2011 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel.
