NPCC wins Life Extension of Well Platform Project (LEWPP-3) Tender from ONGC
Abu Dhabi, UAE (October, 2016):
National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has recently been awarded an EPC contract for Life Extension of Well Platform Project (LEWPP) 3 at Mumbai High North and South fields (MHN and MHS) around West Coast of India, by Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), a Government of India Undertaking.
The contract, valued at $141 million was signed by Mr. Aqeel Madhi, CEO of NPCC and Mr. Manas Chakraborty, Group General Manager (MM)-ES of ONGC.
The scope of work for above project involves the replacement of 10 wellhead platform topsides at ONGC’s Mumbai High North and South fields (MHN and MHS). Out of the 10 wellhead platform topsides being targeted for replacement, four are on the MHN field and six are on MHS. The decommissioning and removal of the existing topside are part of the contract and overall project is scheduled to complete on 30 April, 2018.
NPCC has successfully executed several mega EPC projects for ONGC over the past three decades.
