HSE

NMDC Energy's Health, Safety & Environment Management System (HSE-MS) is an integrated management system based on the following four standards:

• Local HSE rules & regulations
• OHSAS 18001(Certification Dec 2009)
• ISO 14001(Certification April 2007)
• ADNOC Group Code of Practice

 

In addition to the above it complies with best international regulations and best practices. Our HSEMS defines the principles by which we conduct our operations worldwide with regards to health, safety, and the environment. Consistent with our "Corporate Values" NMDC Energy management provides strong visible leadership which places People, HSE and Customer Satisfaction as its highest priorities. The HSE philosophy is communicated to all employees, customers, subcontractors, and third parties associated with our business, and each member of the organization is mandated to provide positive evidence of conformance to the system

 

The HSE Management System model comprises seven interrelated components:

NMDC Energy continues to receive various HSE awards from local & international institutions for its excellent HSE record such as:

• RoSPA Gold Medal 2018
• British Safety Council Sword of Honor in 1989 for being one of the top 30 safest companies in the world
• ADNOC HSE Award 2001, 2002 and 2003
• Major Offshore Contractors Safety Award by "International Pipeline and Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA)" for
  2008, 2002 and 1999
• ZADCO HSE Award 2009 & 2006
• ADCO 2006 HSE Award for completion of 18 million man-hours without LTI.
• ADMA-OPCO HSE Awards for completion of various projects with zero injury
• QatarGas II Development Project completion of 5 million man-hours without LTI _2007
